In behalf of Great Americans salute on"memorial day".. this is Apple from Manila sharing you salute thier honours and bravery of the unsang and fallen heroes... Observed last Monday of May And here their bodies laid on solemn ground...
We not only to remember those soldiers who had their share of dignity and love for the US flag ...
But for all those man and woman who shed blood and inspiration to their mother land.....
To those who left their beloved and embrace the nation to be great and thier heritage with integrity and pride...Had we known their heart and minds.....? We'll remember them as we gaze the clear skies.....

Thank you Apple for posting this. My dad was a WWII veteran who served in the Philipines after Bataan. He saw so much that it scarred him for the rest of his life. My dad, Carlton T. Bortell has been gone for 12 years now & each Memorial Day, I try to find as many WWII vets as I can to thank them & hug them & let them know they are not forgotten. I strongly encourage everyone to do the same. WWII veterans are few & far between anymore, but find ANY veteran because they all have given their lives in some way for the good of the rest of the world.
Veterans are the most selfless people I know! ;D
