Hi everybody,
I propose to use this topic to replace shoutbox. Shoutbox can still be used ofcourse, but for the few of us this seems to be more practical solution.
The benefits are:
1. No messages will be lost
2. Date stamp comes along with the message
3. All the options like links, pics etc. are available.
Hope to see you here!
Cheers,
Dj Indy

Hey there Ari! Great idea you have here! We can keep up with each other better this way. Sounds to me like things are going rather well for you! I am so excited about your new music.....I absolutely love the funky sound that you guys have put out....the sound is awesome! Getting late for me here, it's nearly 2:00am, so I guess I'd better call it a night. I'll be back!!
Southern cheers, Lena aka Kay

Hi Lena Glad to see you here! Thanks for the kind words, we have rehearsals every Sunday and hope to throw few kicks starting next spring. Few months is all we need to gear up and have some 20 songs or more ready. Most of them are from Jamiroquai, Red Hot Chili Peppers and such. In addition there will also be few of our own production, so this is really challenging yet interesting task. How's your life today? Hope everything's fine at your end. Cheers Ari www.myspace.com/akaagroovement

Hi Ari, Things are going very well for me I suppose. I'm still trying to process the death of my sister. I miss her so much... I have been spending a good bit of time with her family......helping them out as much as I possibly can. Her husband has been blind for 30 years, and he depended on her to be his eyes. He plays bluegrass music, and every other Saturday I take him to Eagle Rock Music Hall to jam with his fellow musicians. My sister was the sound mixer at the music hall, and she is sorely missed. The fellows that own the hall have been trying to give me a crash course in mixing and recording....haha! It's interesting and I am learning a little more each time I go, but I'll never be able to hold a candle to the talents that my sister possessed. I am really pumped about you guys playing funk and groove!! It sounds awesome!! Yeah, yeah I know I repeat myself, but man, you guys have got a tight sound going on! I sure hope that you can get a tour up and running next spring! Tell your drummer to chill and not get all freaked out about selling gigs. With the sound you all have going on, I am certain that you would draw enormous crowds wherever you play! Okay my talented Finnish friend, I hope that you have a wonderful day. Blessings upon you all. I shall return!! Southern Blessings, Lena

Hi Lena
My condoleances, I doubt if there is anything harder for us than dealing with those things.
I guess one big part in the process of healing will be your study for mixing and recording. I am convinced that you will get the hang of it and even more. Your experience will grow and you will soon find out your view is expanding. In this particular case it is not wrong to say you will learn by doing.
You know a great deal of music already, you know how to use it to your advantage while sittiing behind the mixer.
Should you ever have questions about recording you can always turn to me. Though I guess you must know by now some great sources of info over there already.
Just stick to that positive attitude you seem to have inbuilt, and you'll do just fine!
Cheers,
Ari

You did a god job ARI! This is wonderful!
Ari is right.we can still use the shout box but posting right here under Hardcore fans of WRR will sealed all the messages and we do not have to worry to lose some of the important messages and events we update.

Merry Christmas to you also. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas. ;D Hope you all have a Happy New Year. Guess I will be spending my New Year with Dick Clark again. Sorry I haven't been online much lately. I took a new job that gets me to work at dark and I leave for home at dark most evenings.

I trust that everyone had a Merry Christmas!! Mine was really nice....I had all of my kids together under one roof, and I even invited my ex to join in the Christmas festivities with us. We had a wonderful time. Funny how well my ex and I get along.....we're best friends forever, even if we can't live under the same roof. Oh well, go figure! haha Anyway my WOLFIES, I hope you all have the best New Year yet!! I love you all and I sure do miss the streaming music we once experienced here. That will be my New Year's wish...to have us up and running once again. Yes Sandy, I miss my sister so much, but it is a comfort to know that she is in no more pain, and that she is in a much better place now. God Bless you and Happy New Year! Much love to all, Lena aka Suthrnstuff
